Estimates

In preparing the estimate, we use our experience and expertise in writing a detailed and comprehensive report of apparent damage. However, an estimate is just that, an estimate. Occasionally, hidden damage is discovered or parts prices have increased. When that occurs, we immediately notify you and/or the insurance company about the supplemental repairs. After we document any hidden damage and obtain approval from the insurance company, the repair process can continue. Please realize that original estimate amounts can vary some. Hidden damage not on the original estimate must be added or the repair will not be properly completed.  Your safety is our number one priority.

Insurance Estimates 

When writing up Insurance Estimates, honesty is key. Writing something on an insurance estimate that is not legitimate part of the damage would be dishonest.  Keeping things honest is best for all parties involved.

Authorization for Repairs

The repair process begins after we obtain approvals from you or you and your insurance company. In the case of an insurance repair, we can consider their agreement as authorization to begin repairs.

Delivery Dates

At Automotive Collision Service, we understand the impact that being without your vehicle can have.  Keeping that in mind, we make every effort to repair your vehicle on time. Unfortunately, delays beyond our control can sometimes occur. Parts can be back ordered, insurance adjusters may need more time to review the hidden damage, proper drying of paints, etc. Due to the complexity of collision repairs and unexpected delays, the delivery date can only be estimated, not guaranteed. We do everything possible to meet delivery dates by coordinating schedules, ordering parts ahead of time and managing the repair process productively and efficiently.
